David Wayne Biggs of 1827 Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 5:30 a.m. at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen, Indiana at the age of 44.
He was born on September 12, 1967 in Houston, Texas to the late Edmund Douglas Biggs, Jr. and Melvina Marie (Loghry) Biggs, who survives. On April 5, 1997 he was married in Taylor, Texas to Paulette Lobo-Guerrero, who survives.
David was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past seven years, moving here from Texas. He was involved at Warsaw Community Church, and attended Nappanee Assemblies of God, Nappanee, Indiana.
He worked at a convenience store, and later as a dispatcher for his father’s ambulance service. He also served as an EMT and as a Volunteer Fireman. In 1989 he began working as a machinist for Intercraft Industries Corporation in Taylor, Texas. He then worked at Centerpulse Orthopedics in Austin, Texas in 1995. David moved to Warsaw, Indiana in 2004 to work as a machinist for Zimmer, Inc. of Warsaw.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Paulette Biggs (Warsaw, Indiana); one son: Zachary Biggs (Warsaw, Indiana); his mother: Melvina Marie Biggs (Taylor, Texas); one sister: Christi Biggs (Taylor, Texas); stepmother: Cathryn Knox (Central Texas); sister-in-law, Sherry Biggs, two nephews, 2 nieces, and one great nephew (Hutto, Texas). He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather, grandmother, and his brother Bill Biggs who passed away February 28, 2012.
His visitation will be from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday March 31, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Taylor. Burial will follow at the Granger City Cemetery.
