Carol Ann Woodall Wade joined Jesus in her eternal home on Thursday, February 23, 2012.
Carol began her journey on February 13, 1941, in Tyler, TX. She balanced raising two children and a successful, 31-year career with the Texas Workforce Commission with enduring strength and solid faith, and battled cancer twice with courage, grace, and dignity. She loved plants, animals, and music, and used the giving spirit God gave her to serve others daily. Above all else, she loved the Lord.
Carol was reunited with those who preceded her to the Lord’s house, including her father, Robert J. Woodall, and her mother, Elaine Woodall McNutt. Her most enduring legacy is the family she left behind to serve in her place, including her sister and brother-in-law, Celeste and Mike Gauthier; daughter Cynthia Wade Blomquist and husband David; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Martha Wade; grandchildren, Rebecca and Alyssa Blomquist and Madison Wade; and nephew Michael Gauthier.
The family is hosting a memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2012, at The Ridge Fellowship – Taylor (formerly CrossPointe Community Church) at 3705 Old Georgetown Road/CR 366, Taylor, TX 76574. Providence Funeral Home of Taylor is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ridge Fellowship – Taylor and designated in memory of Carol Wade.
Carol was a good friend and loving mom to all.
