Ernest Carl Rohlack

Ernest C. “Ernie” Rohlack, 52, passed away February 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1959 in Taylor Texas to LaVerne and Ernest E. Rohlack.

Ernie graduated from Taylor High School in 1977. He earned a Gold Star in 4H while he was in school. He loved spending time outdoors on nature walks looking for arrowheads and walking his dog and best friend Picasso. He was always proud of his farming before working for McCoy Building Supply in Georgetown for over 26 years. His greatest love was spending time with his daughters; Stephanie and Sarah.

He is survived by his daughters; Stephanie and Sarah Rohlack, his parents LaVerne and Ernest E. Rohlack; sister, Jana Hinojosa and her husband Ernie and their children Victoria, Nicholas, and Danielle; brother, Thomas and his wife Christine and their children Jackson, and Christian, and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Providence Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
