Anton ("Tony") M. Suchomel

Anton (“Tony”) M. Suchomel, 91, of Coupland, TX passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, in Austin, TX.

He was born January 17, 1921 to Stanley Suchomel and Marie (Navratil) Suchomel. On May 6, 1946, Tony married Ann (Jansky) Suchomel at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak, TX.

Tony was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a Veteran of WWII, a past member of the Coupland School Board, Catholic Workman, KJT, Texas and American Hereford Associations, sponsored Ag Coop students and loved farming and ranching.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two infant sons, brother Stanley and sister Mary.

He is survived by his son Steven Suchomel and wife Tanya of Coupland, daughter Cathy Kostroun and husband August of Austin, and sister Lillie Jansky of Taylor. Tony is also survived by grandchildren Tony Suchomel and wife Kristi, Lance Suchomel and wife Lori, Matthew Suchomel and wife Hollie, Wesley Suchomel and wife Ashlee, Trey Kostroun and wife Mary, Mark Kostroun, Joshua Kostroun and Blake Kostroun. He is survived by five great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Gracy Woods II Nursing Home in Austin, TX for the loving care given to our father.

Rosary will be 6:00 P.M., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.

Celebration of Life Mass will be 3:00 P.M., Sunday, January 29, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Taylor.
