Max Weldon Kennick, age 4, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011.
On March 14, 2007 in Austin, Texas, triplets, Max and his sisters, Molli and Maci, were born to John and Jana Kennick.
Max is survived by his parents; siblings Reece, Ryan, Maci and Molli; grandparents George and Shirley Kennick of Bonners Ferry, ID and Charles and Jacque Wilson of Pearsall, TX; He is also survived by his great-grandparents Opal Wilson of Pearsall, TX, Ruth Davis of Eldorado, TX, and Sena Wiltse of Minot, ND; uncles LTC Anthony Kennick and wife Bonnie, Dan Kennick and James Wilson; and other numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles and other family members.
Max touched the hearts of many in his short time on earth. He will always be remembered for his “cute face.” His rendition of “Glorious Day” by Casting Crowns , his Ninja song that he made up (or “inja” as he put it), and driving his John Deere Gator around the neighborhood. Max had no trouble expressing his love for his family, friends and life itself. Despite his challenging medical history, Max was always so brave, did what had to be done, and emerged with a smile. He was loved, more than words can express, by so many and lives have been forever changed.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the First Baptist Church (7th and Davis Streets) in Taylor, TX. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
