Philip Louis Baugh, 50, passed away in Taylor, TX on October 31, 2011 due to heart failure. He was born in Richmond, TX on March 31, 1961.
Philip is preceded in death by his mother, Angeline Elster Baugh of Houston, TX.
He is survived by his father William C. Baugh of Taylor, TX; sister and brother-in-law Janet and Gary Barnes of Georgetown, TX; brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Carol Baugh of Lake Charles, LA; brother Richard Baugh of Taylor, TX; and sister and brother-in-law Christine and Aaron Alexander of Spring, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Jenny Theiss, Bethany Baugh, Blake Baugh and Shara Baugh; great nieces and nephews Jessi and Gracie Theiss and Danny Baugh Perez.
Philip and his family spent 6 years in Baton Rouge, LA prior to moving to Houston, TX in 1972 where he lived until moving to Taylor, TX in February of 2011.
Philip attended Aldine High School in Houston, TX. He was employed by Brown Texture for the majority of his working career until relocating to Taylor.
He loved the outdoors and was an excellent fisherman. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He never met a stranger and was quick to make new acquaintances.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 A.M. and Celebration of Life Services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 4, 2011 at The Brook Church, 11416 Spring Cypress Road, Tomball, TX. Flowers can be sent to 11412 Spring Cypress Road, Spring, TX 77377. Burial will follow in Lott, TX on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cloverleaf Cemetery.
Providence Funeral Home and Klein Funeral Home in Houston, TX are in charge of arrangements.
