Michael David Gola

Michael D. Gola, 57, of Taylor passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at his residence.

The Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Mass will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fth. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Michael was born April 3, 1954 in Taylor to John and Sybil (Angela) Gola, Sr.
He was a gifted and talented person who excelled in barbering and hairstyling.
While attending community college in California, he received numerous awards. Michael returned to Taylor where he continued his craft. He later worked in the Hotel Front Desk area in both Austin and Taylor Hotels.

His “easy going “ personal nature and sprit will be sorely missed.

Michael is survived by two brother, Alex Gola Sr. and wife Tommie of Hutto and John Gola, Jr. of Taylor; one Aunt, Mary E. Gola of Taylor; uncle, Anthony Urbanek of New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
