Orlando Domínguez López, of Granger, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
He was born on February 23, 1974 to Arthur and Consuelo López in Taylor, TX.
Orlando was an honor graduate of Granger High School and continued his education at Southwestern University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in History in 1996. He was a member of the Southwestern University San Gabriel Chorale and pursued his passion for music playing in various bands.
Orlando was a lifelong member of St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, former local precinct Democratic chairman and delegate of the County and State Democratic Convention. He started his career with Dietz & Associates and then was employed by the State Bar of Texas for over 15 years. Most recently, he was employed by Zwicker & Associates as a Litigation Associate.
Orlando, his nephew, and friends founded the Granger Big Foot Hunting Organization with members ranging from 7 years old to 40. His greatest joys were traveling with his family.
He was fortunate to be an organ donor. Because of him, families will not only have their loved ones longer, but the spirit of Orlando is living on through them. He would have had it no other way.
