Regina "Jeanie" Rogers

Regina (Jeanie) Rogers passed away July 29, 2011 after a seven month battle with cancer. She was born July 18, 1949, to Justin and Clara Niemtschk of Thorndale.

Jeanie spent the majority of her working career at Industrial Generating Company, ALCOA, and most recently Luminant.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Charles (Smokey) Rogers of Taylor; son Richard Jones; daughter Casey Rogers; sisters Donna Harris and Twana Benner; brother Anthony Niemtschk; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank all their friends and relatives for their help and support and Texas Oncology of Round Rock and Scott & White Hospice.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Providence Funeral Home.

Burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
