Richard (Ricardo) Mireles Rangel

Richard (Ricardo) Mireles Rangel, 60, of Taylor, passed away July 26, 2011.

Ricardo was born January 26, 1951 to Manuel and Gertrude (Mireles) Rangel. He was a truck driver for a concrete company and was a dispatcher for 10 years with Dorsett Brothers Concrete in Houston and BFI for 6 years.

He is survived by his wife Rita G. Rangel; daughter Stephanie Rangel of Taylor; son of heart Johnny Guerrero and wife Lina of Taylor; grandsons Richard Zachary Yanez and Brandon Scott Yanez; brothers Tony Rangel of Taylor, Jesse Rangel of Round Rock and Francisco Rangel of Cedar Park; and sister Esther Velasquez of Austin.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Manuel Rangel, Ignacio Rangel and Febronio Rangel; and sisters Juanita Gonzales and Margaret Garza.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Celebration of Life Mass will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Moreno, Jesse Arellano, Joe Manuel Rangel, Darrell Espinoza, Randell Espinoza, Solomon Olivarez, Jr., Tony Rangel, Jr. and Adam Rangel.
