Robert Borgne Sr.

Robert Bruce Borgne, Sr., 78, passed away June 26, 2011.

Mr. Borgne was born February 24, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, to Wesley Arthur Borgne and Margaret Joy (Roulston) Borgne.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and first wife Dolores Borgne.

He is survived by his wife, Della Velau Borgne; daughter Carol Wooten and husband J.W. of Bulverde, TX; son Robert Borgne, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Taylor, TX; step-son Lavern Vealu of Garner, IA; brothers, Wesley Borgne, Jr. and wife Marietta of Linden, MI, and Richard Borgne of Midland, TX; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Contributions may be made to St. Vincent De Paul or a charity of your choice.
