Ruby Lee Poldrack, 83, of Coupland passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Round Rock.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, May 16, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at St. Peter’s Church of Coupland with Pastor Jon Sumner officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
Ruby Lee was born January 5, 1928 to Walter and Louise (Raschke) Minzenmayer in Coupland, Texas. She married Leroy Poldrack November 26, 1947 in Taylor, Texas. She loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was known as the “Lap Nana”. Ruby Lee was also known for her sewing of quilt tops. She was a farm girl and enjoyed working outdoors, planting flowers and building things. Ruby Lee also enjoyed her “seek and find” puzzle books, her “42 Club” and her Church.
Ruby Lee was preceded in death by her parents and one child, Pattie Lee Poldrack.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Poldrack of Coupland; son, Larry Poldrack and wife, Theresa of Little Rock, AR; two daughters, Dolly Smith and husband, Craig of Humble and Kathy Tidwell and husband, David of Austin; five grandchildren, Sara Jacoby and husband, Scott, Brian Poldrack, Lindsay Smith, Raelyn Smith and Kristin Tidwell; two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Madelynn Jacoby; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Poldrack, Scott Jacoby, Jeremy Trepagnier, Randy Minzenmayer, Jerry Stefek, Terry Poldrack, Hunter Poldrack, and Doug Weise.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bradley Lenz and Denny Poldrack.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church of Coupland.
