Daniel T. Ozuna

Deacon Daniel Thaddeus Ozuna passed away on May 3, 2011. He was born on June 2, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He was ordained a permanent deacon on June 13, 1998.

He is preceded in death by his mother Olivia Martinez Ozuna, his sister Juanita Ozuna Hennessey, and his brother Michael Isidore Ozuna.

He is survived by his wife Belinda, his son Christopher Daniel, his daughter Sarah Danielle, one brother Gary Ozuna, his father Isidore Ozuna and his little sweetheart Madison Gonzalez.

He is also survived by two nieces Olivia Hennessey and Kristina Hennessey, one brother-in-law Pat Hennessey, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

The love of his life was his ministry, his marriage, his family and serving the people of God at St. Mary’s in Taylor and wherever he journeyed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School in Taylor or St. Joseph’s High School in Victoria.

Rosary will be led by Msgr. Lonnie Urban at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Most Rev. Joe Vasquez will preside. Viewing will be at Artero Memorial Chapel in Victoria, Texas on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Ressurection Cemetery in Victoria, Texas.
