Sisto Gonzales

Sisto Gonzales, 101 years old, born on March 28, 1910, passed away on April 22, 2011. He was a lifetime resident of Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Diaz, one daughter; Guadalupe Flores and two sons; Pedro and Larry Gonzales.

He is survived by four daughters; Ramona Romo of Waco, Gloria Tamez, Maria Morin and Vangie Maganè all of Taylor, daughter in law Marina Gonzales of Austin and two sons Manuel and wife Patsy and Tony and wife Lana all of Taylor; 42 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; one sister, Alberta Martinez of Waco and numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Taylor, Texas. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Taylor, Texas.
