Reta Ruth West, 81, of Taylor passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Reta was born November 24, 1929 in Williamson county to Mack Cager and Adele Cleo (Knight) West. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Taylor. Reta graduated from Taylor High School in 1948. She loved her life at Grace Place where she attended many functions and was surrounded by many friends.

Reta was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Maxine Halamicek and husband, Lynn Carl of San Angelo; nieces and nephews, Michael Lynn Halamicek and wife, Cynthia, Ben Halamicek and wife Priscilla, and Leigh Ann Smith and husband, Donny all of San Angelo; great nieces and nephews, Anna Pittman and husband, Gary and son Carson, Casey Fuqua and husband, Kyle, Tiffany Morrman and Husband, Cade and son Harper, Cody Barr, Sara and Coby Halamicek all of San Angelo; special cousins, Carolyn Minzenmayer and husband Douglas and family, Donna Ladner and husband, Reggie, and Roberta Cohn; and her special friends at Grace Place and other relatives and family members.
