Mary Orta Yanis

Mary Orta Yanis, 62, of Taylor passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 4, 2011 with the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home, Taylor, TX.

Celebration of Life Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Taylor, TX. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Mary was known to have a very strong faith in her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her father Pedro Orta, Sr. and two brothers, Pedro Orta, Jr. and Antonio Orta.

Mary is survived by her mother, Angelina Orta; children, Jesse Yanis (Cristina), Rickey Yanez (Cecilia), Margie Gutierrez (Rosendo), Mary Ann Yanis (Hector), Theresa Yanis (J.J.) and John Yanis (Lisa); brother, Jose Orta; 3 sisters, Stella Martinez, Sylvia Benitez, and Dominga Rios; 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family would like to express a special thanks to her Barton Creek Country Club Resort family and to the entire staff at Light House Hospice @ Altenheim in Round Rock.
