Lillian R. Hejl

Lillian Ruth Baca Hejl, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011. She was born May 12, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas.

Lillian was preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel Paul Hejl, Sr.; parents Francis and John Baca; daughters Lillian Hejl, Charlotte Cox and Cynthia Walters; and son-in-laws Tim Reese and Tim Walters.

Lillian is survived by daughter Claudette Reese; son Daniel Hejl, Jr. and his wife Linda; and son-in-law Terry Cox.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Jon Cox and wife Amy, Justin Cox, Jimi, Timi and Sean Walters, Jason Reese and wife Stacey, Michele Reese, Melinda Gallagher and husband Sean, Jennifer Reese, Paul Hejl, Rachel Roedl and husband Cody, and Jennifer Farmer and husband Shane. Lillian is survived by her great-grandchildren Tyler and Travis Cox, Xulani Cox, Melissa Walters, Jaxon Reese, Robin Swope, Joshua, Emma and Gina Gallagher and Ella Roedl.

Lillian loved to cook, sew, sing and play the piano. She mostly liked taking care of the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Trinity Care Center staff of Round Rock for their loving and caring attention to Lillian and her family. Also, Lighthouse Hospice for assisting with Lillian’s transition to her bigger love, which was to be with God and all her family that has passed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Austin Juvenile Diabetes Association.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Providence Funeral Home.
