Billye Jean MaCuk Wesolowski, 82 years old, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 17, 2011.
Billye loved the Lord, her faith and especially her family. She taught her sons to treat all people with dignity and respect. She always led by example.
Her entire working life was spent in retail, and she loved it. She enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends.
She spent several hours a week doing volunteer work at St. Mary’s Church, the Catholic Daughters, and St. Vincent DePaul. She was also very active in the Inner Faith Community. She loved volunteering at the hospital, local nursing homes, and with her friends in the Red Hat Society.
Billye had a wonderful sense of humor that she loved to share along with her beautiful smile. Her love for family and friends was always unconditional. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace Schaefer; husband, Joseph Wesolowski; 3 brothers, Frank, George, and Calvin Schaefer; and sister, Grace Anderson.
Billye is survived by her beloved sons, Ben MaCuk and wife Cindy, Richard MaCuk and wife Kay; grandchildren, Stephanie Griffith and husband Josh, Laura Nuckolls and husband Heath, John MaCuk, Keith MaCuk, and Meredith MaCuk; great grandchildren, Ashlyn MaCuk, Alec Griffith, Ben Nuckolls, and Griffin Nuckolls. She is also survived by her step children, Jim Wesolowski and wife Karen, Joe Westin and wife Cheryl; daughter, Barb Bartik; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2011 with Rosary and Memorial Service from 7:00-8:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas.
